Muslim Aid is the name of a British-based charity organization founded in 1985 by Yusuf Islam, who left his position as Chairman in 1999.
Its objective is to "relieve the poor, the elderly, children and all those who are in need in any part of the world as a result of natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, droughts, famine epidemics, poverty and plagues and the relief of those who are refugees fleeing from war zones and war victims."
